to the artists, designers and craftspeople who think I call their work kitsch... this is NOT the case, it refers to my own work

Auberge de la Faveur - more than art

After hours of walking in the forest - where we only met one person preparing logs for winter - it is great to come back, relax and enjoy a gorgious meal.

... an arty welcome, sculpture by France Siptrott...

... table near the bar for the aperitif ...

... arty signs showing the exit ...

... two poles in the room; one for small notes one wishes to leave behind; the other for love notes in search for the one ...

... a beautiful book about the place where the artist owners work and live ...

... art by Pphs/Hugues Siptrott ...

... our table for the evening ...

... more art by Christophe Meyer - more works on his BLOG and FLICKR pages ...

... and more, by Ernest Stepp ...

... Vierge à la pomme - Virgin with apple - by France Siptrott ...

... pretty details everywhere ...

... never a dull moment, so much to look at. Art by Pascal H Poirot ...

... amazing bread basket made by France ...

... live events, tonight it is music, other nights it will be poetry or discussions ...

... and once our plates are empty we realize we made Après Food Art. Plates made by France Siptrott, a great lady who together with her husband Hugues owns the charming Auberge de la Faveur.
And before I forget ... the food is really tasty and delicious. We will come back ... soon.
